Cash payout terms

For creators invited to be paid in money rather than Coins. These add to the creator agreement; they do not replace it.

1. Who this is for

The cash tier is by invitation. Being a creator does not entitle you to it, and an invitation can be withdrawn. Once invited, you choose whether to set it up; until you finish, your code keeps crediting Coins under the creator agreement.

You must be 18 or older and able to open a Stripe Express account in a country Stripe supports for this. Stripe checks both; we cannot make exceptions.

2. What is paid

For each order that uses your code after your payouts are enabled, your share is 20% of the order's net: what the buyer actually paid, less the card processing fee. It is worked out per order, floored to the cent, and shown on your statement.

An order that earns a cash share earns no Coins. Orders before your payouts were enabled stay as Coins.

We may change the share for future orders, and will tell you first. We will not change it for orders already placed.

3. When it is paid

A share waits 30 days after the order (the refund window). If the buyer is refunded, or disputes the charge, in that time the share is void. After the window, your settled shares are transferred to your Stripe account once they add up to at least $10.00; smaller amounts wait for the next run.

Stripe then pays your bank on its monthly schedule, on the first of the month. Stripe's own payout timing, limits and fees apply to that step.

If an order is refunded or disputed after a share was transferred, we take that share back from your Stripe balance. If your balance cannot cover it, the amount comes off future shares.

4. Stripe, identity and tax

Payouts go through Stripe Connect. Stripe collects and holds your identity, bank and tax details; we never see them. You agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement when you onboard, and to keep your Stripe account in good standing. If Stripe restricts your account, payouts pause until it is resolved.

You are responsible for tax on what you earn. In the United States, Stripe will issue a Form 1099 when the law requires one; elsewhere you will provide the tax form Stripe asks for. Nothing here is tax advice.

You are an independent creator, not an employee or contractor of Aurelune Studios, and no fee is guaranteed.

5. Rules that carry over

Everything in the creator agreement still applies: no using your own code, no posting it where nobody is watching, and a plain disclosure that you earn from it every time you share it. Breaking those on the cash tier can mean removal from it and forfeiture of unsettled shares.

We may end the cash tier, or your place on it, on notice. Shares already settled will still be paid; shares still in their refund window will be paid when they settle unless void.
