1. Who we are, and what these terms cover

Aurelune is a Minecraft community: a game server (play.aurelune.gg), this website (aurelune.gg), and a Discord server, run by Aurelune Studios ("we", "us"). These terms apply to all three. By making an account here, linking a Minecraft account, playing on the server or buying anything, you agree to them.

Aurelune is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft's own end-user licence and usage guidelines apply to your use of the game.

2. Accounts and age

You sign in here with Discord, and you must meet Discord's minimum age (13 in most countries, higher in some). If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to use Aurelune and to make any purchase, and they are responsible for what you do here.

Your account is yours. Keep it to yourself, tell us if someone else gets into it, and do not use another person's account. We may close an account that was made by someone too young, or that is used to get around a ban.

3. Playing on the server

The server rules are part of these terms. Staff decide what breaks them and can warn, mute, kick or ban, or revoke a whitelist, at their discretion. Membership is by invitation; we can refuse or withdraw it.

Do not cheat, use hacked clients, exploit bugs, disrupt the server, or harass anyone. Anything you build or write on the server can be seen by other players and may be lost to resets, moves or mistakes; we keep backups but promise nothing about them.

4. Coins, the store and refunds

Coins are Aurelune's virtual currency. They have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for money, and are not transferable except through features we provide (such as gifts). Buying Coins is optional and is a purchase of a licence to use them on Aurelune, not property.

The store terms cover purchases in full. In short: payments are handled by Stripe; we do not see your card details; Coins are delivered to the Minecraft account named on the order; and because Coins are delivered immediately, purchases are final except where the law says otherwise or where we choose to refund. Gifts are not refundable. If a purchase is reversed or charged back, the Coins it bought may be removed.

Ranks, cosmetics and other things bought with Coins are features of the server. They can change, be rebalanced or be retired as the server changes, and they do not carry over if you leave or are removed.

5. What you post

Posts, showcases, profile text, images, guild pages and messages you put on the site are yours, and you give us permission to show them on Aurelune (the site, the server, our Discord and our social channels) for as long as they are up. Keep them suitable for all ages and lawful; do not post things you do not have the right to post. Staff can remove content and the accounts that post it.

The Chronicle, the leaderboards and the public parts of your profile show things that happen on the server, by your Minecraft name. What is shown of you follows the privacy choices on your dashboard.

6. Creators

Creator codes and the creator program are covered by the creator agreement, and cash payouts, where offered, by the cash payout terms.

7. Ours

The Aurelune name, the site, the Chronicle's writing, the artwork, the resource pack and the maps are ours or used with permission. You may share screenshots, videos and streams of Aurelune freely; you may not sell Aurelune's assets, run a copy of the server, or present something as Aurelune that is not.

8. No promises

Aurelune is provided as it is and as it is available. It is a hobby community, not a utility: the server may go down, wipe, move or close, and features may change or disappear. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss of items, builds, Coins, data or time, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing removes the statutory rights of consumers where they apply.

9. Changes and the rest

We may change these terms. Material changes will be announced in Discord and dated here; using Aurelune after that means you accept them. If part of these terms is found unenforceable the rest still stands. These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Aurelune Studios is based, and any dispute will be heard there, unless the law where you live gives you a right to something else.

10. Contact
