Rules
Short, and we mean them. They come down to one thing: be someone people are glad to see online. /rules in game shows the same list.
- Be kind. No harassment, hate, or picking on people.
- Keep chat clean. Anyone might be reading.
- No spam, no caps walls, no advertising other servers.
- No hacks, cheats, X-ray, or mods that give an edge.
- Do not use bugs or duplication. Report them instead.
- No lag machines or crash exploits.
- Do not beg for items, ranks, or staff.
- Do not impersonate staff or misuse reports.
- AFK farms are fine. Abusing mechanics is not.
- Staff have the last word. Take it up in Discord if you disagree.
Griefing and stealing are covered by the first rule. Claims protect your land, but the rule protects everything else, including builds nobody thought to claim.
Punishments are on a ladder: a warning, then a mute or a temporary ban, then a permanent one. If you think a punishment was wrong, the appeals channel in Discord is where it gets a second look.
Reporting someone
If someone is giving you a hard time, report them: /report <name> in the game, or the Report button on the site. When you do, we save the recent chat between you and them, and their recent public chat, so staff can see what happened for themselves instead of taking anyone's word for it. Nothing is saved until somebody reports. Only staff with moderation access can read it, and it's deleted 90 days after the report is closed. The privacy policy has the details.
Please only report what really needs a look. Reporting someone just to get at them counts as misusing reports (rule 8).
