Milk a cow or mooshroom you keep fed in your claim, once she has worked twenty fed minutes; an empty bucket fills with Fresh Milk. Every recipe that takes milk takes it, and the press wants it for wheels. A station or the press hands the empty bucket back.
Feed a cow by hand (wheat, oats, barley or fodder) and keep her in your claim. Once she has worked twenty fed minutes, an empty bucket fills with Fresh Milk instead of plain milk. 1 every 20 fed minutes. Brush her and lay a hay bale near: a groomed cow works a quarter faster.
A mooshroom kept and fed like a cow gives Fresh Milk the same way; a bowl still gives her stew. 1 every 20 fed minutes. Rare, so a mooshroom herd is a fine thing to show off.
