Aldoria

The Museum

In the museum hall by the spawn mansion, curators keep the Legends and finds worth remembering, and hang them where anyone can walk up and read the card.

To the museum

Giving a piece

A gift costs nothing and pays nothing. It is a way of saying this piece mattered.

  1. Step 1

    Offer a piece

Hold a Legend or a find, sneak and right-click the intake desk, or use /museum donate while looking at it.

  2. Step 2

    Confirm it

The first time, the terms are read out. Do the same again within 30 seconds to confirm. One item leaves your stack.

  3. Step 3

    A curator decides

Up to three offers can wait. A curator accepts, declines or hangs each one. A declined piece comes back with a thank-you.

Credit is off unless you turn it on

With /museum credit on, cards show you as the donor and carry your Legend's own name, linked to its page. Off, they read “a donor” and say only what the piece is. You can change your mind any time.

In its care for good

Once a curator accepts a piece it does not come back to you. Until then, /museum takeback returns it.

The exhibit rooms

On display

Right-click an exhibit in game to read its card.

Nothing is on display yet. The exhibit rooms are still being fitted out, so giving opens as soon as the curators have a room ready. Pieces will appear here as they are hung.

Upstairs

The people we thank

Three rooms upstairs name the people behind Aurelune. Every name is there with that person's agreement, and comes down the moment they ask.

Community Stewards

Staff, mentors and others whose steady work keeps Aurelune running.

The room is being filled in. No one is shown yet.

Creators' Salon

Creators who share Aurelune with the world, shown with their agreement.

Supporters' Gallery

People who chose to be thanked for helping Aurelune exist.

Recognition is never for sale and never about amounts: nothing here shows what anyone paid. If you are named and would rather not be, type /museum recognition withdraw in game.

Upstairs, by the south windows

Aurelune history

The story so far, oldest first: moments the curators checked against the record, and each month as the Chronicle told it. In game, read it on the history lectern or with /museum history.

The first pages are still being written.
