Marlow Tallyworth
Market Clerk · The Moonfall Castle courtyard
Marlow keeps the ledger at the Aldoria Exchange, the market counter in the Moonfall Castle courtyard. Every trade goes through his hands, and his prices follow the shelves: the emptier one is, the more he pays for it.
Their story
The Aldoria Exchange started as a chalkboard by the castle gate, where miners and farmers wrote up what they had and what they wanted. When the board outgrew the wall, the town hired Marlow to keep a ledger instead. Every trade goes into it in his hand, which is why trades are made at his counter, and he doesn't set the prices: the shelves do.
What they want: A ledger that balances at the end of every day.

Prices move with stock: the less we hold, the more we pay.
