Player Market
The Aldoria Exchange, the market at spawn, trades raw goods: what you mine, farm, fish, chop or collect from mobs. Crafted things aren't bought or sold here. The auction house is the place for those. Spawn eggs aren't traded here either.
Everything on the shelves was sold in by a player. Nothing restocks on its own, so an empty shelf stays empty until someone sells a few. That is also when selling pays best.
Prices follow the shelf. The less the shop holds, the more it pays you and the more it charges. As stock piles up, both ease back down. They never go above five times an item's base price or below a tenth of it, and the shop pays you 90% of what it would charge.
In Minecraft, /market opens the shelves. /sell opens a box you can drop items into, and /sell <item> <amount> and /buy <item> <amount> trade by name. Prices and stock here come from the live server, in $. The website only shows them; every trade happens in game.
Trades are made in person. Talk to Marlow Tallyworth, the Market Clerk in the Moonfall Castle courtyard, and the market opens for you while you stand at his counter. Travel scrolls make the trip quicker: see The Aldoria Exchange.
$ and Coins stay separate — there is no Away currency and no auto-exchange.
