Focus and quiet moments
Sometimes you want to read, plan a build or finish real-world work with Aldoria humming along beside you. /focus gives you a timer in blocks of focus with short breaks between them. It is a place to rest, not a game.
Starting a timer
/focus startruns 25 minutes of focus, a 5 minute break, four rounds./focus start 50runs 50 minutes, a 10 minute break, two rounds./focus start <focus minutes> <break minutes> [rounds]is your own plan: 5 to 120 minutes of focus, 1 to 30 of break, up to 8 rounds. There is no break after the last block.
A bar at the top of your screen shows the time left and the round: blue while you focus, green on a break, white while paused. A page turns when a block begins and a soft chime ends it. Walking around, building or leaving the room never stops it.
Use /focus pause, /focus resume, /focus stop and /focus status as you need them. A timer paused for 30 minutes stops.
Quiet moments
/focus quiet [minutes] is one short block of 1 to 10 minutes (3 if you say nothing), with no break and no rounds. The bar is purple and it ends with a soft chime. /focus stop ends it whenever you like.
Small extras, all optional
/focus intendpicks one small intention from a short list: read, make, tidy, learn, rest or here. Only you see it, at the start and at the end./focus soundpicks a calm sound for your timers: hearth, garden, rain or study, or silence. It replaces the bed of the place you stand in, for you alone, while the timer runs./focus company onlets your companion settle beside you. It is off until you choose it. While your timer runs, a pet you have out sits by you, quiet, and does not wander. When a timer runs to its end, it stands up and makes one small sound of its own. Stopping early is fine: it simply gets up. Its care, mood and bond never change because of a timer.
Finishing says "A little time for yourself" and offers Done for now, Another round or A quiet moment. Stopping early says the time was yours. There is no failure, no count and no streak.
Studying together
In a study room, such as the library at spawn, /focus share opens your timer to others in the room and /focus join <name> joins someone else's. Everyone sees the same bar. Only the host pauses or resumes. If the host leaves, whoever joined first holds the timer. A shared timer takes up to eight people, the host included. /focus room shows the room card with start buttons and the open timers, and a second row for a quiet moment, an intention, a calm sound, company and help. None of them is needed to start. Study rooms in the castle work the same way when nothing is booked in them.
Stepping away
Alone on a timer, you can log out and it keeps running for an hour. When you return, it says where it is. A shared timer lets you go when you log out. A server restart ends every timer.
What it does not do
A timer pays nothing and counts toward no level, quest, badge or board. It keeps no history and asks for no notes. /focus works in Minecraft only, not on the website or Discord. /quiet turns the sound cues off; the lines and the bar stay. See Sound and quiet.
