What Aurelune is

Welcome to Aurelune. It is a long-term Java survival server, the world is called Aldoria, and nothing resets: the house you build today is still there next year. You build, trade on the player market, pick up quests, fish, and turn up to the things we host every week. Here is how the first hour goes.

Your character is the same in Minecraft and on the website, where Aurelune Away lets you check your chests, run furnaces, and follow your quests and builds while you are logged off.

Getting in

You need an invite or an accepted application before you can play.

1. Get into the Discord: apply, or use a vouch from a friend.
2. Join play.aurelune.gg on Java 26.2 and say yes to the resource pack.
3. The game shows you a join code and sends you back out. Enter it on /link or with /link in Discord.
4. Join again.

Your first hour

You arrive in Moonfall Castle, the hub at the centre of Aldoria. A sensible order:

1. Talk to the Quest Master in the courtyard and start your First steps, top right in his menu: five short jobs that walk you through the market, your profile, claiming land, setting a home and the guilds, with a little money for each. He also has the daily errands, and he knows where every quest giver in Aldoria is and can send you to them. See Quests.
2. Open the Server Guide, either the person in the courtyard or /help. It answers most questions.
3. Visit the Pet Keeper for your first pet, free, then /pets.
4. Pick your playstyle with /playstyles. It is optional. You can leave a style and pick another straight away, but the new one is then yours for 7 days before you can leave it. Your first switch, within 24 hours of your first pick, skips that wait. See Playstyles.
5. Jump in the magic pond at the far end of the courtyard, straight ahead from where you arrive. It drops you into the survival world.
6. Claim your land where you decide to settle, then /sethome. See Claiming and Homes.

What's on your screen

• The board on the right is about you: your rank, your level (and your moon once you prestige), your playstyle and your guild. Below that it shows where you are, the day and time in Aldoria, your Money and Coins, and how many people are online. Out in the survival world, "where you are" says whose claim you are standing in, or Wilderness.
• The bar at the top shows the time, the area you are in, which way you are facing and your coordinates.
• Hold Tab for everyone online, your ping, how many staff are on, and a tip that changes every few seconds.

In the arcade the board on the right belongs to the game you are playing, and yours comes back when you leave.
