FAQ

Quick answers for new and returning players. If it is your first day, Getting Started walks you through it.

Joining and setup

How do I get in?

Apply on Discord, or get a vouch from a friend who plays here. Then join play.aurelune.gg on Java 26.2 and link your account. See How to join.

What version do I need?

Minecraft Java Edition 26.2. Accept the resource pack on join. No mods needed. If you want some, we recommend our own, the Aurelune Pack: see How to join.

Where do I spawn?

Moonfall Castle, the hub of Aldoria. The Quest Master and the Server Guide are in the courtyard; the magic pond at the far end drops you into the survival world.

Do I need to link Discord and Minecraft?

Yes. It is how the server knows which account is yours. The first time you join, the game shows you a six-letter code and sends you back out; enter it on the link page or with /link in Discord, then join again. Once is enough.

Playing on the server

Pets vs cosmetics?

Pets (/pets) are named companions that follow you around; the Pet Keeper gives you your first. Hats and suits (/wardrobe) are visual only.

What happens when I die?

You come back at Moonfall Castle, or your bed. Without a light it's plain Minecraft: your things drop where you died. Carry a light, a Vigil Candle you can craft or one of the Necromancer's lanterns, and dying to a mob, lava or fall damage out in the survival worlds leaves a grave instead: your things wait in it where you died until the light burns down, and for a while only you can open it. There are no graves in Aldoria itself, and a fight with another player never leaves one. The Necromancer at the Graveyard gives every newcomer their first candle, and the graves guide has the whole story. Dying also costs 10% of the money you carry, so keep your savings in a bank.

How do I open the in-game guide?

/help or /serverguide.

What is the Arcade?

Minigames at spawn: Party Games, SkyWars, Run From The Beast, Disco Block Party, TNT Tag, TNT Run, Spleef and parkour. /games opens them all, or click the Arcade row in the courtyard. Pets, jobs, and skills progression stay off in arcade worlds. See Arcade.

Money and store

Money vs Coins?

Money is the everyday in-game currency. Coins are premium for ranks, cosmetics, and the Coinshop, never combat power.

Where is the store?

/store on the website. In-game: /store or /coinshop.

Aurelune Away

What is Aurelune Away?

The companion you open when you are not in Minecraft. Sign in with Discord, then link Minecraft when you want claim storage and the Delivery Crate. See Aurelune Away.

Why can't Away see my chest?

Away only tracks what you point it at. Look at the chest in Minecraft and run /away track. Same for furnaces and crafting tables.

What is the commission board?

Work the townsfolk want done. It counts as you gather and smelt, and pays in items, standing, and sometimes a title. See Commissions and builds.

Where did my items go?

Anything that would not fit a chest is in the Delivery Crate. Join Minecraft and run /away to take it.

Something broken?

Ask in Discord. Do not share passwords, link codes, or private messages in public channels.
