Every way of getting somewhere in Aldoria works the same: ask, stand still for a moment, and you are there. The rules below apply to all of them.
How a trip works
- Stand still for 3 seconds. A countdown shows above your hotbar. Moving a block, taking a hit or landing one calls the trip off.
- Not in a fight. A trip will not start while you are tagged in combat, or if you have been hurt or struck anything in the last 15 seconds. Wait it out and try again.
- 30 seconds between trips. After you arrive you can take another trip once the wait is over. You are told how long is left.
- Survival worlds and spawn only. Trips start from spawn or the Survival worlds and go to the Survival worlds. They do not start from an Arcade game or its lobby.
- Safe landings. You are placed on safe ground, never inside someone else's claim. A claim that has banned you turns you away.
- A short shield. For 10 seconds after you arrive, other players' blows, arrows, tamed animals and TNT, and falls, cannot hurt you. It ends the moment you strike a player.
- No charge. Trips cost nothing.
The commands
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/rtp | A random trip out into the wilds of the Survival overworld, between 500 and 5,000 blocks from spawn. Aurelune looks for a safe spot first, so the trip may take a moment to start, and if it finds nothing you can simply try again |
/sethome [name], /home [name], /homes, /delhome <name> | Save and return to your own spots. See Homes |
/tpa <player> | Ask to go to another player |
/tpahere <player> | Ask a player to come to you |
/tpaccept, /tpdeny | Answer a request (the request also has Accept and Deny buttons) |
/tpacancel | Take back a request you sent |
/tpatoggle | Stop or start receiving requests until you log out |
/spawn | Return to the hub |
/back | Return to where you were before your last trip. For Lords and above, see Premium Ranks |
/pw <warp> | Visit a player warp. See Player warps |
/claim visit <player> [claim] | Visit someone's open claim. See Claiming |
Teleport requests
A request runs out after a minute, and you have to wait about 5 seconds before sending another. You cannot send one to someone who has blocked you, to someone who is in a fight, or while you are in one yourself. Once it is accepted, the player who is travelling stands still for the usual 3 seconds and goes to where the other player is standing.
Back
/back takes you to the place you left by your last trip, such as a home, spawn or a request. Short hops of a few blocks are not remembered, and it is forgotten when you log out. It does not take you to where you died.
