How to join

Aurelune is invite only, and getting in is easy. There are two ways: apply on Discord, or have a friend who already plays vouch for you. Either way it ends the same: you are in the Discord, you link your Minecraft account, and you play. Ten minutes, start to finish.

1. Get into the Discord

Applying. Open the Discord invite. Discord asks a few short questions before it lets you in. Answer them all and send it. Staff read every application by hand, usually within a day.

Vouched by a friend. A player who has reached level 5 can send you a one-time invite link from their dashboard. It skips the questions. Open it, and you are in the Discord as a member straight away. Details: Vouches.

2. Link your Minecraft account

1. Open Minecraft Java 26.2 and join play.aurelune.gg. Plain Minecraft is fine; mods are optional (more below). Say yes to the resource pack when it asks.
2. The game shows you a six-letter join code and sends you back out. That is expected. It is how the server learns which Minecraft account is yours.
3. Enter the code on the link page, or type /link followed by the code in the Discord. Either one works.
4. Join again. You land in Moonfall Castle, the hub of Aldoria.

A join code lasts fifteen minutes. If yours runs out, join the server again and you get a new one. Once linked, you are linked for good; you will not be asked again.

Mods and the Aurelune Pack

Plain Minecraft Java 26.2 works on Aurelune, no mods needed. We do recommend our own modpack, the Aurelune Pack: a faster game, with voice chat, a minimap and world map, and far-away terrain. Every mod runs on your computer only, so the server never needs it.

The Aurelune Pack goes up on Modrinth soon, and we will link it here the day it does. Until then, plain Minecraft is all you need.

Things that go wrong

"Your application has to be accepted first." The code only works once you are a member of the Discord. If you applied, wait for staff. If you are not sure whether you applied, open Discord and check for the Aurelune server in your list.

The code says it is not valid. It ran out. Join the server again for a fresh one.

Wrong Discord account. Sign out on the website and sign in with the one you use in the Aurelune server. Codes bind to whoever is signed in when they are entered.
