Claiming
Claim a patch of Aldoria and it is yours: nobody else can break or build there. Claim early, give it a name, and let your friends in.
What this is for
A claim is a 16×16 chunk you own. You expand it with connected chunks. Claims only work in Survival worlds, and only on unclaimed wilderness.
In Java, F3 + G shows chunk borders.
How to use it
- Stand in the chunk and run
/claim. Your first claim is calledhome, thenclaim2,claim3and so on. /claim rename <name>to give it a name people can find.- Stand in a chunk that touches your claim and run
/claimagain to grow it. If that chunk touches more than one of your claims, use/claim add <claim>to choose./claim new [name]starts a separate claim instead. /claim trust <player>to let a friend build with you./claim untrust,/claim banand/claim unbanwork the same way, and/claim transfer <player>hands the claim over./claim sethomewhile standing inside a claim sets where visitors arrive, and/claim visit <player> [claim]takes you to someone else's open claim after a short stand-still.
To let go of land, /unclaim frees the chunk you are standing in and /claim abandon <claim> releases a whole claim. /claim list and /claim info show what you hold. /claim flags shows the settings for members and visitors, and /claim flag <members|visitors|natural> <setting> <on|off> changes one, such as who may use chests or doors, or whether visitors may enter.
Banned players are turned away from your land. Claiming is free. What limits you is how many chunks you may hold in total, and how many separate claims.
How much you can claim
Everyone starts with 3 claims and 10 chunks across them. A claim can be any size, so the chunk total is the real cap. Your current numbers are in the Player Profile under "Your Limits".
More chunks come from:
- Profile levels. Levels 5, 10, 15, 25, 30, 35, 45, 50 and 55 each add 2 chunks. That is 18 more by level 60, claimed from the level menu with the rest of the level's rewards.
- Premium ranks. Knight +10, Lord +20, Paladin +30, Duke +40, King +50. See Premium Ranks.
- The Landlords. Three Landlord NPCs in Aldoria auction packs of chunks (2 to 5, 6 to 10, or 11 to 20 at a time) in rounds of about ten minutes, starting at $250 in-game a chunk. Highest bid when the round ends takes the pack. You need to have met them first; the NPC will tell you.
More claims come from:
- Profile levels 20, 40 and 60. Each one gives you a whole extra claim, perfect for that farm or outpost away from your base.
- Premium ranks. 2 more claims per rank step, from +2 at Knight to +10 at King.
- Prestige. Every new moon adds 2 claims, 20 over all ten. See Levels.
Your chunks are one shared pool, so a new claim doesn't need new chunks: spread the ones you have across all your claims however you like.
Trusted members are for you and staff. They are not listed on public profile pages by default.

Selling land
Stand in a claim you own and run /claim sell <price> to put it up for sale at a fixed price; /claim unsell takes it down. Anyone can buy it with /claim buy while standing in it, and /claim forsale lists everything on offer. The money and the claim change hands together, or neither does. A listed claim also shows on the Land Office by its size and district, never its coordinates. A buyer's claim limits apply as if they had claimed the land themselves, and the claim's trusted players and bans are cleared when it changes hands.
