Jobs

Get paid for the work you already do. Each job pays money and job XP for its own kind of work, and each level adds 10% of the base pay. Every job caps at level 30.

Default: one job at a time. Extra job slots unlock as you level in /levels.

Joining a job

Type /jobs to open the jobs board. Each job shows your level, how close you are to the next one and how much it pays. Click a job to see exactly what it pays for at your level, the skill it boosts and the traits it gives you, then join it.

You can also visit a job master in Aldoria. The first time you meet them they tell you about their trade; after that, a click opens their job's page.

Leaving a job keeps your level and XP. Come back later, and you pick it up where you left off.

How pay works

  • Pay arrives every few seconds, and a short line above your hotbar shows what you earned. /quiet hides it.
  • Each hour has a pay limit that grows with your total job levels. Your jobs keep levelling after you reach it.
  • Blocks you just placed pay nothing when you break them again.
  • Furnaces, smokers and blast furnaces pay their owner; a brewing stand pays whoever placed it.
  • Minecraft Monday: Mondays from 7 pm New York time, job pay and XP are doubled.

Each of the older jobs links to a matching Skill. Holding a job boosts that skill's XP, more with every job level, and many jobs give you traits while you hold them. See NPCs & Vendors.
