Trading

Safe one-to-one swaps with another player for items and money.

How it works

  1. /trade <player> sends a request. It lasts a minute; they click Accept or type /trade accept. If you both ask each other, the window just opens.
  2. Each of you puts items in your own side of the window: click a stack in your inventory to offer it, right-click to offer one more, click it in the window to take it back. The gold buttons add money, the iron button takes it out, and /trade money <amount> sets an exact sum.
  3. Both of you press Ready. A short countdown runs, then both press Confirm trade.
  4. Change anything, money included, and you both go back to editing. Either side can cancel; then nothing exchanges.

Nothing leaves anyone's inventory until the very end, so there is no mid-trade grab-and-quit.

Good to know

  • Money can come from one side only, so a trade is items for items, or items for money.
  • You need to stand in the same world, within 16 blocks of each other, in survival or adventure. A fight, a death, a world change, or walking apart closes the window.
  • Keepsakes, trophies and other bound items cannot be traded, nor anything holding one, like a shulker box or bundle with one inside.
  • /trade toggle turns incoming requests off until you log out.

Selling to the whole server instead? Auction House or Aldoria Exchange.

Trading through Away

Not in Minecraft right now? Player requests in Aurelune Away let you post what you are short on and what you will give for it. The offer is held until someone fills it, and both sides collect from the Delivery Crate.

Want to leave something for a friend who isn't online? Add them to your claim with /claim add <name> and put it in a chest there for them to pick up later.
