Guilds

Permanent teams with a shared name and badge.

Create / join

  • Create: /guild create <name>
  • Join public: /guild join <name>
  • Or accept an invite

Leave or disband anytime. Full menu: /guilds. Invites last 5 minutes.

Badge

Custom Guild Badge via the in-game designer. Names are 3 to 12 letters or digits. Creating a guild is free.

Levels

Guilds level 1 to 15 with guild XP (see Settlements, below). Higher levels unlock member slots (3 at level 1, one more for every level) and badge patterns. Ranks: Leader / Senior / Member. Seniors invite and kick members; leaders also promote, rename and disband.

Useful for land pools, dungeon groups, Warzones, and everyday survival with people you trust.

Settlements

Every guild is a settlement. It starts as a camp and grows a new name as its level climbs.

How your guild grows

Guild levels come from guild XP, and guild XP comes from playing together. Levels can't be bought.

  • Members online: each member who's on adds 1 guild XP about every 20 minutes.
  • Guild achievements: reaching a score, a number of members or a bank total adds 10 to 500.
  • Guild projects: as your project goes up, each quarter built adds guild XP, up to 120 a week. The more of you who help, the more it adds.

Every guild's page on the website shows where it stands on the ladder and how much guild XP its next level needs.

In game, /settlement shows your guild's settlement, its level, the guild XP the next level needs and the project going up. The Settlement button in /guilds shows the same.

Guild projects and the Settler title

Your guild can raise a build together on an owner's or officer's own land. How it works is on the builds page.

The Settler title. When a guild project of at least 200 blocks is finished, everyone who gave it enough while they were in the guild gets the Settler title, as long as at least two members did. Enough is 16 to 64 items, depending on how big the build is, after anything they took back out. Leaving the guild or the guild disbanding before the finish takes nothing away. Wear it with /tags.

Naming your settlement

From Hamlet (guild level 3), your guild's owners and officers can name the settlement on the guild's page or in the Guild panel in Away. The name goes after the tier, so a Village called Duskhollow shows as Village of Duskhollow.

  • Use 3 to 24 plain letters A to Z. Spaces, apostrophes and hyphens are fine.
  • It can't be another settlement's name, a player's name or a place in Aldoria.
  • The name can change once every 30 days. Clearing it is always fine, and your guild can take it back within 30 days.
  • Some names wait for a quick look from staff before they show.
